Woodland Bdu

Does anyone not know if this is true or not?
It has been said in the last year that the Civil Air Patrol (CAP. Auxiliary Air Force) will be uniform change now, which is the BDU ABU forests to digital. I have heard that this might not happen until the air force has just been sent to the bases. but stated in 2012 or 2011 that we be getting (CAP represents the Air Force so we look like them). This has been declared on the websites and magazines, I'm not sure if this is true or not, so if someone can give me a serious answer … thanks. ~ C / MSrg. Nick
This issue was raised a few weeks by someone else … here's what I wrote: Just a little history and then my own speculation … CAP was the old "fatigue" uniform until the mid-90s, more than 10 years after the FA began the transition to the BDU's. From what I heard in the rumor mill is more like Sometime around 2020 or slightly earlier. Its not likely that we will ABU as soon as 2011 because the real AF is not even 100% for the transition time. Once you go 100% service globally, then we can start looking to make our changes. Here is the "official" response on the CAP with headquarters ABU: That is a decision of a future National Council / NEC. Provided ABUS approved for the PAC members, probably there will be a long-term phase outside Woodland BDUs. The mandatory date for using the Air Force for the ABUS is November 2011 so it is likely to be some time before the abuse are used by members of the CAP. I hope that helped …
