archery bow wood
I have a 48-inch and half thick board want to make a bow and im gunna new bedding. I want to be a short bow but i dont want to take all the timber outside the womb is also too thick. I want to be at least 30 pounds. responses or suggestions appreciated
Well, that's interesting. People has successfully completed arches of tables. What kind of wood? How does the length of grain, and is straight? Is this the arch will have a "job" handle, where it bends too much, or going to build a handle by gluing another piece of wood? Moreover, because do not want to thin the stomach, you will have to start with the tips wide above and below the handle, and reduce the width down as they tword chain notches.
