Curling: Sweep your way to success!
Curling, also known as the roaring game, originated in Scotland. It was very popular among the centuries there XVI and XIX, and today Scotland houses the World Curling Federation.
Curling is played on prepared ice. Two goals round like archery, or the house are included in this sheet of ice and two teams of four players each are involved. The teams are called tracks and masters are called jump. Players are known as the lead second, third, and jumping. Usually play in that order. Each team tries to score with eight polished granite stones. These are called stones or rocks. Other teams are special shoes Curling worn by the players and brooms or brushes to sweep the stones.
Curly games are called matches and each round of play is called an end. Most the game consists of eight rounds, while some matches curling competition with 10 points. Friendly matches usually last six rounds. The end of each line is that the stones Curling closer to the center of the target once all the stones have been thrown by both sides. Each team takes turns at the launch of the stones. The final position of the stone altered by brushing or sweeping the path before him. The jump inside the house to direct the player who throws the stone, where to aim. The other team's players sweep before the stone. Once the stone has been thrown, players can not play while in motion. Therefore, sweeping is the only way to change its position.
