Im 6'4 280 and in pretty good shape, I want to get into archery … especially fresh and funny cousin. but I was looking to get a "Bear Kodiak Magnum – Glass-Powered "I was wondering if this would be a good bow to start with around 60 PND arc of 48" long, and I can get to 125 as Duzz arrows, please let me know what a rookie should know before entering this … thanks any advice will be good, because I know nothing, September is not wood and strings and perhaps the pain if I'm playing 8].
Alen, that sounds like a good deal but I have never been fired before I would not recommend it as a arc starting. Everyone here already has a list of reasons (bad form not to use the muscles and the draft lists of weight can not be what you end up pulling). If you just have to get by all means do so, but not use as a bow to boot. Has the arc examined by a golf shop to ensure it is in good condition operating? Recurves if not strung properly can end turn tips and anything (get it checked before setting any price). Make sure whether to shoot has a recurve bow rail to keep it from touching the extremities and to the laying of the bow that much easier. twist is that the tips of torque unevenly in the extremities during laying. The tip then twist when the chain is in the arch and make it ineffective and useless. If you want to enter the archery (and yes it's fun and addictive) I recommend checking to see if there is a shooting club anywhere nearby and see if they offer classes for beginning archers. Most Classes will be places that offer equipment for use while in class to get you started right. After deciding that archery is to allow me start looking for a bow and the first thing you have to decide is whether to shoot a recurve bow or compound (starting in recurve is fine, but from a compound and then decide want to shoot recurve a little more difficult to re-learn (you can do but is not the easiest thing to forget the "Compound") Habits of Suitable for shooting habits Recuva). Ok, now that I have provided this information and taken into space by the ending to say that if you want an additional information please contact me directly
