How to Sharpen a Lawn Mower
It's a bit of a pain to remove and sharpen a lawnmower blade, but it is a necessary part of maintenance. Dull blades tear the grass out and stress. Sharpening a blade is not a difficult task.
There is a wide range of lawn mowers in the market, each in a price range that offer different characteristics. But the most important characteristic of your lawn mower is the blade – the tool that cuts the grass really.
All the leaves are dull with time …. if you allow the blade to stay dull, there will be repercussions. A dull blade will to work harder to cut grass and not cut as cleanly as a sharp blade. This damages the lawn, and can also damage the mower engine because the engine has to work to the blade.
Lawnmower Blades
Read the manual of your lawnmower. mower blades are made from a variety of materials – and some are not able to be sharpened by the owner.

2. If the mower hazard, disconnect the plug, if it works with batteries, remove the battery, and if a gasoline engine, remove the spark plug and make sure the gas tank is very simple. 7. Re place the spark plug, battery or power cord.
It is always best to sharpen the blade once every two months.
If you do not want to go to the trouble of sharpening the blade, you can always buy spare parts and put a new blade on the mower. Wear old leaf from a hardware store and have it sharpened. Then store it in a safe place for nobody will be able to cut their hands on it.
