Ok, I am in the Culinary Arts program and I am required to wear a chef uniform and a black cap. My hat is starting to get dirty, and I want to know how washed in a standard washing machine. Thank you.

My husband has baseball caps all the time. Washed with an old toothbrush and laundry detergent. He rinses with cold water and beaten to get rid of excess water. Then hang it on something to dry so you can keep the previous form of the lid.
