How do I know where to drill, and I have to put an insert in or use a faucet to the threads on the arrow rest?
Most arches, although the oldest had a threaded hole in the lift specifically for this purpose. If yours does not suggest you take it to an Archery Shop and see if they are willing to help. I have 3 compounds and the three are positioned differently. If you have to do it yourself I suggest about 1 / 2 inch above the shelf and a little farther back, the center of the uprising. Most holes are threaded, but you can purchase inserts were intended for wooden arches and possibly paste it into a larger hole. Hope this helps!
