The Olympic Games is looking for the best people in the sports world since. Drugs are not allowed. But the Paralympics is arbitrary. What as disability need not be be in it? If I was blind I would like to fight in archery. But what if I have only one leg? Is that really a disadvantage in archery? Perhaps the disability is the impact of sport, what sport has to involve a person's legs with one leg to participate. If so, the severity of a disability has to be? Amputation? Disfigurement? Club foot? I have pretty stubby toes. Does that count? And I'm a bit shit underway. Surely I should be eligible? Of course, people with disabilities enjoy sports competitions, but do not ask me who care for them. Do not understand my point, then, TDF? OK, maybe I was not clear. I do not care about sports competitions because they seem arbitrary. The worst of the worst disability is going to do in sports. What really show? Obviously I am concerned about the welfare of persons with disabilities.
The Paralympic Games is an official event with real athletes, officials standards is not arbitrary. The entry criteria are strict. If you meet these criteria, you qualify. For example, if a blind marathon runner is still at a disadvantage because they can not see the problems with the road surface. But they are still running a marathon and still train hard. Paralympic record time of 100 meters is 10.85 seconds run by someone with paralysis Cerebal. It is understandable that people who are not disabled, and therefore can not participate, does not matter. For people who are disabled, I guess that provides a great source of inspiration to people suffering the same conditions that can compete.
