learn archery online
I'm getting into archery and I'm trying to buy my first bow. I'm left eye dominant, but I'm also right handed. I shoot my rifles and handguns hand right but the thought of buying a left handed bow to learn with because of the meeting in line trying to shoot with both eyes open with a bow that does not match with the dominant eye can actually through his lens out. It also seems to shoot with both eyes open is the goal most people strive to bow hunting. I'm not sure whether it would be more difficult to learn archery hand or eye out. Any knowledge and experience in the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Go to the eye, a bow is not like shooting a rifle or pistol which stands at the place of destination. In archery target is on your side, and twist the head to one side the other to shoot. That dominance makes eyes play an important role. Try shooting with the weak eye and its parent will pay a big way unless you use a patch the eye or near an eye, giving rise to other problems. Then came the other big difference between shooting rifles and bows. When you're shooting a bow, which is doing the work, a lot of work to keep the string drawn. Couple that with trying to aim with one eye closed, and will have trouble focusing on the implementation of fire.
