View from a new perspective Nottingham – Robin Hood connection

His visit to Nottingham would be complete without a hint of Robin Hood. While accuracy the legend is incomplete, you can not discuss the impact this has on the folklore of the city.

Nottingham is understandably proud of his legendary outlaw, with streets, places, running festivals, businesses, inns and other taking its name. There is even the Robin Hood line between Nottingham to Worksop via Mansfield train.

The measure of his desire for a Robin Hood experience will dictate how much immersed in history. From dinner archery inspired cocktails in a bar in the city to return to man-in-green in Nottinghamshire Legendary Journeys, the only limit to Robin Hood, the county is the length that is ready to go!

A Place in the heart of the legend is Nottingham Castle, home to arch rival villain, the Sheriff of Nottingham. Located just a five minute walk from the Market Square to symbolize the search Robin Hood to steal from the rich to give to the poor, a statue of our accomplished archer – bow and arrow trained at the castle – lies in wait outside the walls.
