Compound Bow Limbs
compound bow limbs

I just learned here that the cam is usually in the upper extremity. Why is the other only a single pulley? and what is the difference between the two?
There are actually three different types of compounds. The first were round pulleys. (I started with one of those.) They tend to have a "heavy" point that came out completely. It became much easier to know when exactly made the long bow to draw when it began using cameras. Weight "left out" sooner exactly at that point where the cams back. However, two cam bows can be difficult to adjust to perfection because it is not very forgiving of slight discrepancies between the two chambers. Many people believe that a single camera system you describe as a perfect balance: the benefit of a camera more sudden high let-off, with less of the difficulty of adjusting the arc.
