I suggest you have a word with an experienced competent goalkeeper at his club, as they are likely to know what is best for you. Some things are few Do not get a bow that is too heavy, because possibly damage it yourself and / or get into bad habits, due to problems with weight. Much better to start out lighter, and get a new set of members when you feel you need them. Unless you are an uber-novice, there's no point to pay extra money to get the most recent, shineyest kit, start with something more appropriate to their ability to get the arrows and what you need now, the duration of your drawing increasing arc. Try as many bows as you can, to improve an idea of what you like / I do not like a file.
