So I have 14 years of age so I should have a youth tournament or something. and I know that archery is not necessarily a British as American. recreational purposes at least. but I saw this thing was this girl a competiton to win a 50k text messages. and I was like if they can get 50k for something so useless that then I should be able to get at least the same amount for winning a contest of archery. so I'm asking for is really how I to find an archery tournament youth near me? I tried googling archery tournaments in Michigan and I do not really find anything. any help would be cool. Oh, and thanks would be nice if you say how well it should be. like imagining a goal target. the outer ring of the ring is an inner midpoint 2 points and 3 points for target and you get three shots. how many points should be receiving on average to feel confident enought to enter:. PS is likely going to be a cash prize) lol
Brit actually was not too prominent in the world of archery, while Americans have been dominant in the recurve side since the 70 over 80 years since then, the Koreans took over. On the compound side, Americans are still at the top, so I would not say that archery is not an American sport:) Try http://www.michiganarchersassociation.com/, the website should have a list of tournaments in the state. Do not expect much money too, however, most archery tournaments give medals or trophies, some such as Las Vegas have money at stake. You do not have to be good to enjoy the tournament. I will not actually start racing when you think you're good. Go there without any expectations and be surprised.
